Who we are

Aten was founded by myself, Ed, in response to the need for data services. Products are everywhere, but how to use them, how to work out what’s needed, and how to take a long-term approach to avoid bolting a product onto yet another product – that’s a rare thing. 

I’ve worked in digital agencies in Soho and in Brighton, leading multi-million-pound projects with exceptionally high-profile clients. During that time I managed and collaborated with some great people – in project management, back and front-end development and data analysis. And the best of the best from those days are working with me now! They provide technical expertise, data strategy and great service.

We offer concept development, data-driven strategies, audit crafting, backlogs, dashboards, and strategic roadmaps.  We’ve worked with the public and private sector, within approved procurement frameworks, always exceeding industry standards. That means offering deep technical expertise, but also an ability to listen and be flexible. The end solution might be detailed and complex, or it could be simple and straightforward. Whatever it looks like, we’ll make sure it runs the way you want it.
